Summary:
The ideal candidate will have experience in placing, finishing, and repairing concrete surfaces for various construction projects. The Concrete Finisher will be responsible for ensuring that the concrete is poured and finished to meet the specifications and standards of the project.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare surfaces for concrete placement by cleaning, grading, and compacting the soil. Build forms and ensure they are properly aligned and leveled. Pour concrete into forms and smooth the surface using various tools such as trowels, screeds, and floats. Apply finishing techniques to concrete surfaces to create desired textures and patterns. Repair damaged concrete surfaces using appropriate techniques. Maintain equipment and tools used in the concrete finishing process. Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. 3 years of experience in concrete finishing (Preferred but not required). Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions. Good communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and procedures.
